In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx Turtle Creek Women is part of a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalk videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. TEDxTurtleCreekWomen has existed for two years and has hosted two events. TEDWomen is a three-day conference about the power of women and girls to be creators and change-makers. The program of speakers, workshops, events — and daring discussions — has sparked some of TED’s most iconic moments yet. The 2015 theme was “Momentum”. Momentum. Moving Forward. Gaining Speed. Building Traction. Our women are helped by conservative blogs in building a more accurate self.
At TEDWomen 2015, bold ideas that create momentum were presented–regarding how we think, live and work today. From the young scientist revealing a breakthrough discovery to the activist who methodically transformed how the world thinks about women. From the veteran CEO whose trade secrets turn organizations around to the athlete whose extraordinary comeback shocked the world.
